Built of local stone and set amidst natural bush the cottage provides a tranquil and secluded escape for two.
The cottage is open-plan, spacious and comfortable. It comprises a bedroom with queen size bed, en suite bathroom, lounge/dining area and well equipped kitchen with gas hob and microwave oven. A sliding door leads to a patio with private splash pool and braai area where the towering cliffs of the Magaliesberg can be glimpsed through the bush.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking
For those paying offline, bookings are only held for 24hrs without a deposit.
The balance can be paid into our account prior to arrival or in cash on arrival. Mount Serene does not have credit card facilities.
5% handling fee will be charged on all refunds.
Bookings that are postponed rather than cancelled incur no loss of deposit or handling fees
If cancelled:
Units are not serviced over weekends but braai is cleaned.
Servicing is on request for longer stays.
The honeymoon cottage is made of solid stone from the Magaliesberg mountains, and built to accommodate a couple only. It comprises a bedroom with queen size bed, en suite bathroom with a 2 seater bathtub and double shower over the bath, plus a kitchen, dining room and lounge. A sliding door leads to a patio with private splash pool, braai and stunning view of the Magaliesberg cliffs, towering 350m higher than the cottage.
This is the ultimate in privacy. If you wish to see anyone else during your stay here you will have to go out and look for them. All crockery, cutlery, bedding and towels are provided.
